Just before turning off at Farranfore for the a landscape photography trip with friends to the Dingle Peninsula in Co Kerry I noticed the imposing McGillycuddy Reeks mountain range and promised
myself I’d return soon to explore that area further. Two weeks later I left very early on a Thursday morning and was again passing through Adare at 9am and on the way to Killarney. Two nights at Cronin’s Yard in the campervan with the
intention to explore the landscapes around the Reeks and also the Black Valley, the Gap of Dunloe and some other standard locations gave me a very limited time to cover these locations. But it provided an appetite to return again and maybe this autumn.
How I have ignored this area until now is beyond my comprehension.
It’s Sunday morning March 23rd and I’ve spent too many hours in front of the computer processing the images and preparing the 3 videos from the Dingle peninsula and the Reeks over the past fortnight. So this is a short post just to say if you haven’t visited the Kingdom of Kerry
here’s some of my favourite images from the trip.
